• Inconsistent job data coming from Simpro • Manual workarounds for Xero payment runs • Time wasted on admin that should’ve been fully systemised • Zapier automations needed upgrading they weren’t built to scale • Data quality and reporting were getting too hard to track at scale
We didn’t start by replacing everything. We started by listening. Green Connect already had the groundwork laid. Our role was to audit their existing setup, find what was slowing them down, and rebuild or upgrade the parts that needed tightening. We rebuilt several core automations using n8n, upgraded and stabilised Zapier flows, and layered in new AI agents that now handle data checks, timesheet entries, and error validation across their project boards. We also integrated Simpro and Xero properly, so payment runs could happen cleanly without hours of manual reconciliation.
• Automated timesheet reporting for 50+ staff • Reduced admin time spent chasing or correcting job data • Error rates dropped significantly across Xero and Simpro • Payment runs now run end-to-end without manual input • AI agents flag incomplete or missing data before it causes problems Even for a team that was already ahead of the curve, we delivered meaningful improvements that freed up internal capacity and gave them cleaner, more reliable reporting.
Green Connect is a great example of what’s possible when a business already values systems but wants to go further. Their team had the foresight to invest early in automation. Our role was to take that foundation and turn it into a long-term operational edge. We didn’t just build tech. We solved the real backend problems that most growing trade businesses are still stuck dealing with.
Next projects.
